About Me

I grew up in the coastal postcard town of Southport, NC. We moved back and forth between Southport and Key West as my dad was a shrimper and we followed the shrimp season.

Photography became a passion for me over 25 years ago. I took some classes at Cape Fear CC in Wilmington, NC. Still film days, I developed my own photos in the darkroom. I've continued to love and grow in knowledge and skills of photography through practice and continuing instruction. My style is to capture the emotions and mood using prompts to invoke genuine moments.
